With March approaching so soon, Nike has been unveiling more spring-ready releases clad in freshly-colored arrangements. Instead of opting for Easter-appropriate pastels, the upcoming Nike Air Max 2090 Heren/Dames turns to vivid brights to deliver a watermelon-esque offering. The Air Max 90 descendant sees its uppers dipped in a pink Sunset Pulse shade that is offset by the green Cyber color applied to the toe and heel.
This version of Nike’s “current shoe of the future” indulges in a vibrant palette consisting of “Barely Volt”, “Atomic Pink”, and “Pink Glow”. Nike Air Max 2090 Schoenen Transparent synthetic bases set the stage for the aforementioned hues with their subtle beige tint. Air Max 90-inspired mudguards interrupt the summer-ready palette in black, but their accents boast a faint neon green makeup. Taking a mostly tonal approach, these Air Maxes blanket its entire upper half with its pastel titular hues, only deviating through its white “Air” branding located on the tongues and towards the lateral heel. Furthermore, the midsoles split between white/pink hues, while the sections of the treading are sprinkled with barely visible black speckled detailing.
When it comes to taking styles to the next level, Nike is no stranger to experimenting with various materials and textures. For instance, an upcoming Kopen Nike Air Max 2090 boasts fleece-like materials while flaunting a clean, white and red color palette. The soft material is applied throughout the uppers, giving off a slight cream tint. Unlike most AM 2090 releases, the profile Swooshes here are red leather appliques stitched onto the sides, rather than graphics of an oversized Swoosh outline.
